Refund and Exchanges

Introduction

We want you to love what you create with Sew & Saw — and we’ll always do our best to make things right when something isn’t working as expected.

At the same time, sewing, embroidery, quilting, and longarm equipment are specialty products, so a few things work a little differently than returning socks to Amazon. 😄

Sewing & Embroidery Machines

Because sewing, embroidery, quilting, and longarm machines are considered specialty equipment, opened or used machines cannot be returned as “new” once they have been activated, stitched on, registered, or removed from original packaging.

We’re always happy to help troubleshoot, educate, support, and answer questions before and after purchase — but machine returns and exchanges are handled carefully due to manufacturer policies and the significant loss in resale value once a machine has been opened or used.

If you’re unsure which machine is the best fit, we strongly encourage questions, demos, comparisons, and conversations before purchasing. We’d much rather help you choose confidently the first time than have anyone end up frustrated later.

Fabric, Thread, Patterns & Notions

Due to the nature of fabric cuts, thread, stabilizers, patterns, books, software, digital products, and notions, these items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

(And let’s be honest — once fabric makes it into a sewing room, it tends to become part of the family pretty quickly. 😄)

Classes & Events

Class and event registrations may be non-refundable once materials, preparation, or reserved seating have been arranged. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out — we’ll always do our best to work with you when possible.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If something arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help make it right.
