Lilac isn’t the loudest color in the room. It’s the one you notice a little later, and then suddenly you can’t imagine the quilt without it.

I love using it for special details that deserve to be celebrated. A floral wreath, delicate vines flowing into the sashing, decorative stitches, or little moments of joy scattered across a quilt. It reminds me of sprinkles on a cupcake—not the whole dessert, just enough to make you smile.
